SMS Alert Privacy Policy

Syndeo Networks (“Syndeo Networks,” “we,” “us”) operates an internal network monitoring system (NMS) that can send automated SMS text alerts to employees who opt in. This policy explains how we handle information collected through that program.

What we collect

The mobile phone number an employee provides when they verbally agree to enroll in NMS text alerts, along with a record of that consent (date, time, and who obtained it).

How we use it

Solely to send automated SMS alerts about the status of Syndeo Networks’ internal network – for example, outages, degraded performance, or resolution notices. We do not use this number for any other purpose.

Sharing

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are used only to deliver NMS alerts through our messaging provider (Twilio), which processes the data solely to send these messages on our behalf, and are never sold, rented, or shared for any other purpose.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on network activity. In most periods you will receive few or no messages; during an active network incident you may receive several in a short time.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out

You can stop receiving alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Retention

We retain enrollment and consent records for as long as you remain enrolled in the program, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL.
